Living costs in Incheon

Around 1.2M to 1.8M KRW a month outside housing, the lowest of the three major Korean markets on this site. Songdo is the exception and prices closer to Seoul. Airport Railroad and Line 1 put central Seoul within about an hour, which is why many teachers treat Incheon as a cheaper bedroom for a Seoul job.

Visa and paperwork

E-2 visa for most roles. Requires a bachelor's degree, a clean criminal record check, and citizenship from one of seven approved countries (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa).

Is housing really included?

Yes for most contracts. Schools either provide a furnished apartment or pay a housing allowance. Apartments are small by Western standards but serviceable.
