Refund policy
ESL Careers sells digital services that are delivered the moment your payment clears: job posts go live and job-post credits are added to your account. Because the deliverable is fulfilled immediately, we treat purchases as final. If anything ever feels off, write to us first — we'd much rather fix the problem than process a dispute.
What this covers
Every product below is a digital service delivered on payment. Once your order has been placed and processed, the purchase is treated as final:
- Single job posts (Standard and Featured)
- Bulk job-post packs
- Featured placement upgrades
- Any other paid hiring service offered on the platform
Try before you buy
The public job board shows the exact format your listing will use, including placement, job details, and how teachers apply. You can also draft and review your listing before checkout.
If something is wrong on our end
We'll make it right whenever our system fails to deliver what you paid for. That includes:
- Duplicate charges from a single checkout attempt
- A confirmed technical failure that prevented delivery (for example, a job post that was paid for but never went live and cannot be republished)
Email hello@esl.careers with your order ID within 14 days of the charge. We'll investigate and, if the failure was on our side, either replace the service or refund the affected portion of the order.
What we don't refund
Because every service is delivered up front and the outcome depends on factors outside our control, we don't refund based on:
- Change of mind after the service has been delivered
- Views or impressions on a job post
- The number of applications a post receives
- Hiring outcomes, including positions filled or unfilled
- Account closure or inactivity after purchase
Talk to us before you dispute
If you're thinking about filing a chargeback or payment dispute, please email hello@esl.careers first. We answer every message and would much rather resolve the issue directly. Unresolved disputes on services we've already delivered may result in the related listings or job-post credits being paused while the dispute is reviewed.
