It's not just you. interviews ARE harder in a second language
If you've ever felt confident speaking English at work but suddenly frozen in an interview, you're not alone. Interviews add pressure that makes your second language feel harder. Three things happen at once: 1. You're thinking about WHAT to say (content) 2. You're thinking about HOW to say it (language) 3. You're being evaluated (stress) Native speakers only deal with #1 and #3. You have an extra layer. This course will help you reduce that extra load.
I know the answer but I can't find the words.
This is called the 'tip-of-the-tongue' effect. stress makes it worse.
I sound so much smarter in my own language.
You ARE smart. we just need to close the gap between what you know and what you can express.
