How ESL Careers makes money
This site is free for teachers. These are the ways it pays for itself, so you can judge what you read.
1. Schools pay to post jobs
Schools and employers can pay to post and to renew listings, including featured placement. Featured placement is a paid placement. Teachers never pay to apply.
2. Our own products
We sell courses, lesson packs and CV tools. When we recommend one of our own products, it is ours.
3. Affiliate links
Some links to other companies are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy after clicking, at no extra cost to you. Links like this are marked as sponsored in the page code and are not hidden. We currently have affiliate arrangements with: ITTT, ESL Brains, SafetyWing, NordVPN, Preply, Wise.
We try to place a partner only where it answers a real need on that page, for example insurance and money transfer on pages about moving abroad. A partner link is not an endorsement of every part of that company’s service, and you should read their terms before buying.
4. Advertising
Some pages may show advertising, which you can control with the cookie choices on the site.
What does not change
- Affiliate partners do not decide which jobs we list or which listings we reject.
- Our guides name their sources whether or not a partner is mentioned nearby.
- We do not accept payment to remove a listing report or a correction.
More on how we source and check content is on our editorial policy. Questions: hello@esl.careers.
