Why translating slows you down

When you translate every sentence from your native language to English, your brain does double work: think in Language A, translate to English, speak. This creates a delay that makes conversations exhausting. The goal is to skip the middle step and think directly in English, even if it's simple English at first.

I'm hungry. Let's eat.

Think this directly in English. don't translate from your language first.

The weather is nice today.

Simple sentences you can think without translating.

Tip

Start by thinking in English about simple things: what you see, what you want, how you feel.
