Overall Description The incumbent will support and seek to embody the Mission and Core Values of the school. He or she will facilitate student achievement of the DIS Student Learner Outcomes, and achievement of the HighScope Key Development Indicators (Nursery, K1, K2) and Common Core Standards (K3). She or he will create a learning environment and design and deliver effective instruction / learning experiences aligned with the CEL-5D teaching and learning framework.

Key responsibilities

  • As DIS is grounded in the Christian faith, the teacher will integrate biblical understandings and service learning into the curriculum, and seek to provide pastoral care and promote spiritual growth of all students.
