ESL Careers market context

Context for this South Korea listing

Visa and paperwork

E-2 visa for most roles. Requires a bachelor's degree, a clean criminal record check, and citizenship from one of seven approved countries (US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa).

Is the F-series visa better?

If you qualify, yes. F-2 (resident) and F-4 (overseas Korean) visas let you work for any employer. F-6 (marriage) is similar. These don't tie you to a sponsor like the E-2 does.
